Figgy Willow Giveaway

One day whilst browsing the crochet tags on Instagram I came across these gorgeous, quirky plaques! I simply had to have one for my craft corner and, upon further investigation, discovered that they are by Figgy Willow - a handmade business specialising in hand painted clay signs and plaques. Figgy Willow is run by Sam, an English clay artist currently living on a little farm in Bulgaria. According to her Instagram profile, she spends her days chasing chickens in the Bulgarian sun, growing her own food and sculpting clay for her ever growing list of customers. Sounds like a life many of us crafters dream of!
I fell in love with her cute but quirky designs and (after a good browse) decided to order a lilac "happy hooker" to hang in my craft space. Instagram is my favourite social platform, and without the support and kindness of my followers I would never have had the confidence to start this blog and share my patterns with the world - so naturally I had to get one for my Instagram friends too! I ended up having 3 different plaques commissioned, one for me, one for Instagram and one for Facebook.
The happy, lilac plaque on the far right is for me! I loved the cheeky one too but "happy hooker" really does ring true with me. Finally finding my passion in crochet design has made my life feel a little bit more complete. It truly makes me happy every single day and when I look at my plaque it will remind me how lucky I am to have finally found my calling in life.
If you would like to win either of these adorable, hand painted yarn balls to hang in your own craft room head over to my Instagram page to enter! The Instagram winner will get first pick of the 2, and the other will be given away shortly after on my Facebook page.
This post is not sponsored by Figgy Willow in any way. These were bought with my own money and are a little thank you gift from me to my followers. I have run a handmade business before so understand how difficult it can be to get your name and work out there. This post is my small way of supporting a fellow artist, so make sure to check out her Facebook page!
Thanks for reading all you happy hookers!
