I share a lot of free content on this blog, mainly my crochet patterns. These patterns are designed solely by me. These patterns are copyrighted and belong to me even though I have decided to share them for free. I reserve the right to:

• Remove any of my free patterns at any time and put them up for sale instead. 
• Make any of my "paid for" patterns free at any time by publishing them on this blog instead.

Copyright notice:

My patterns are not to be published (this includes translations!) in part or in full in any book, magazine, blog, website or forum without my expressed, written consent. However I do allow my patterns to be linked to from other content on the web (eg: free pattern round ups, craft blogs) You may post my pictures with a link back to the pattern on this website. Again, you may not post the pattern itself or any parts of it.

Currently I do not allow my patterns to be translated and published/shared elsewhere on the internet. This is my right as the author. I may one day look into having my patterns translated professionally so I can publish them myself.

You may sell any items made from my patterns as long as they are individually handmade by you. This includes online, craft fairs or in bricks & mortar "handmade" shops. Mass production using my patterns is not allowed. Credit is not needed but always appreciated and helps get my name out there as a designer. "Pattern by Heart & Sew" or "Made from a Heart & Sew pattern" would be just fine if you would like to help support me. You may not claim, directly or indirectly, to be the original designer or author of the pattern.

Please use your own photographs when selling/advertising your handmade work for sale, do not use mine.

Your handmade work 100% belongs to you, but the pattern itself belongs to me. The pattern itself is not to be redistributed for sale OR for free in digital or physical format.

I will take action against those in breach of my copyright notice to protect my work and name.

Privacy Policy:

Your privacy is important to me. If you sign up for my newsletter I will not share your personal information with anyone else nor send you spam or content unrelated to my website. Those who sign  up to my newsletter will receive an email every time I publish a new blog post with the new post contained within.

This blog does not share personal information with third parties nor do I store any information about your visit to this blog other than to analyse and optimise your content and reading experience through the use of cookies.

Cookies are small pieces of data that save information when you visit websites so you don’t have to re-enter it every time you return.
